Fertilizer

Lawn fertilizer replaces some of the most important nutrients lost over time. In the growing seasons grass uses a lot of nutrients that need to be replaced. Grass thrives off the sunlight, water and nutrients in the soil. If you really want a thick, green, and healthy lawn this step cannot be missed. Our specialist will apply the right fertilizer for your type of grass so you can have the lawn you want. Reach out to get started and we will be by for your free lawn analysis!

Weed Control

Post-emergent and Pre-emergent. Its important to get rid of weeds and stop new ones from growing. Some weeds like clover also cover the grass like an umbrella which blocks the sun and stops the photosynthesis stage that grass needs. Grass competes with weeds for water, sunlight, and nutrients which usually leaves grass starving. The loss of phosphorus, potassium, and nitrogen weakens the grass and leaves it prone to insect and disease problems that cause major damage. It’s important to get rid of weeds.

Turf Damaging Insects

Grub worms or chinch bugs feed on the lawn. Its important to prevent and control turf damaging insects so the lawn doesn’t get brown spots or dirt spots. Grubs eat the roots of the grass which kills those areas that are infested. Chinch bugs have razor sharp beaks that pierce into the grass blade and sucks out the fluids leaving grass like hay. A lot of times in hot weather we see chinch bug activity in the open sunny areas, leaving grass dehydrated it will eventually die. When we are on your lawn and see these insects we will spot treat those areas and stop a huge problem. We have a specialist waiting to get on your property. Call now!

Disease

Lawns also get fungus that leaves brown spots that will eventually kill the entire lawn if not treated. Fungus is the number one disease we see here in south Texas. We see this problem more in Saint Augustine and Bermuda lawns than any other types of grass. The fungus will travel down the blades of grass down to the root; causing the area if not the whole lawn, to die if not treated. Our specialists are trained to spot this problem at early stages so we can prevent BIG damage. We’re ready to get on your lawn. Just fill out the info on this page and we will come do a free lawn analysis!
